Vivekanand Education Society was founded in Chembur in 1962. Education is provided from nursery level to Ph.D. level in various streams. The Vivekanand Education Society in the Hashu Advani Memorial Complex comprises Mumbai University affiliated colleges of Engineering, Pharmacy, and Management. The campus also has hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy is one of the colleges in this campus. It was found in July 2007. Bachelors of Pharmacy (Pharm), Direct Second Year Pharm (Lateral Entry Students), Masters in Pharmacy (Pharm), and Ph.D. (Tech) in Pharmaceutics are the various courses provided by our institute. We focus on quality education along with extracurricular activities. It is also a placement cell for the students.
The building is well equipped with advanced laboratories and well-maintained classrooms. The institute also has its own animal house and pilot plant. A library with more than 7000 books and a sports room facility.Various scholarships are offered for the betterment of the students. A great principal, specialized teacher's and a co-operative non -teaching staff helps in creating a student-friendly environment. Students council, PHO, Rotaract, DLLE, IIC are a few of the committees to provide students with excellent exposure. This institute has always worked and will keep working towards creating competent pharmacy professionals.
